The Director shall be responsible for developing and administering programming and operations to serve up to 121 children between the ages of 6 wks and 12 years. Responsibilities include ensuring the Center is in full compliance with all relevant Federal, State, and/or local regulatory requirements pertaining and accreditation standards, including attaining and maintaining NAEYCE accreditation; budget planning and oversight; recruitment, management and training of teaching and administrative staff; developing and marketing the Center’s services; and serving as the liaison between the Center and the Board of Directors. Desired qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in early childhood or related field, demonstrated knowledge of early childhood curriculum, experience in personnel and budget management, marketing, and program development including community outreach programs.
